Overview

Defence Exams are conducted for recruitment into the armed forces. These exams are rigorous and require candidates to be physically fit and mentally prepared.

NDA (National Defence Academy)

The NDA exam recruits candidates for the Army, Navy, and Air Force after 12th grade. It includes a written test followed by an SSB interview, focusing on general knowledge, mathematics, and English.

• Syllabus: Mathematics, General Ability Test.
• Eligibility Criteria: 12th pass with Physics and Mathematics.
• Pay Scale: INR 56,100 - 2,50,000 per month.
• Job Grade: Class A.

CDS (Combined Defence Services)

The CDS exam is for graduates seeking to join the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Indian Air Force Academy. It consists of a written exam and an SSB interview, assessing candidates on various subjects.

• Syllabus: English, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics.
• Eligibility Criteria: Graduation in any discipline.
• Pay Scale: INR 56,100 - 2,50,000 per month.
• Job Grade: Class A.

Indian Coast Guard Exams

These exams recruit candidates into the Indian Coast Guard for various technical and non-technical positions. Candidates must prepare for written tests and physical fitness assessments.

• Syllabus: General Knowledge, Mathematics, and Technical subjects.
• Eligibility Criteria: 10th/12th/Graduation depending on the post.
• Pay Scale: INR 21,700 - 1,00,000 per month.
• Job Grade: Varies by position.
